The significance of ”art of shape”　rather than ”formalism”

 According to Clive Bell, form includes not only shape but also color and shade.

If the shape of a work were the only thing that determined its content, the number of documents would be extremely small.

When it comes to shapes, artistic terms can be used accurately by showing the actual shapes.

This time I will create a circular cross model on grid pattern that can show the degree of balance.

 The main motif is the curve of the sword, shown in vermilion, which forms a perfect arc.

I created a unit model using the circle that extends the arc and its horizontal and vertical diameters.

It is used in an overwhelming way that is unparalleled.

The balance is achieved by having the circles intersect at the intersections and overlapping the diameters.
