Cézanne, Seurat and Beardsley used the same arc-circle technique

I noticed that Cézanne, Seurat and Beardsley used the same arc-circle technique  in the second half of the twentieth century.

 Here are the examples.

Cezanne “The Bather “in MOMA 1885

Seurat “Study for the Models” 1886

Beadsley “Bathyllus taking the pose” 1896

I still don't know how they affected each other.

It may be self-evident if you look closely at classical paintings, as myself did.

Visual grammar is an a priori ability, and the end result is the same.

This ability is at the foundation of formalism.
